More About Alumkadavu:

Alumkadavu, 23 km from Kollam, is half way on the route to Alleppey from Kollam. This village is the place where entire clans used to construct the Kettuvallams – the traditional houseboats of Kerala.

As you glide through the calm and serene backwaters you see a Kerala which has been preserved through the ages yet having progressed with the times. Alumkadavu even boasts of a floating conference hall which has been designed to seat 35. It has a sophisticated public address system as well as a Dias.
